With nothing but a crystal clear vision and a lot of books on opening a new business, I opened Purrmission’s doors in September 2005 and have never looked back. Purrmission was born of a desperate need to find a great bra that fit (and didn’t look like WWII army issue) alongside an intense desire to make a safe and beautiful place where all women could feel right at home. I make sure we walk our talk daily-making absolutely certain that we give all our customers the “support” they need in more ways than one. I also write a weekly column in the Santa Barbara Daily Sound, “Kitty in the City”. Again, all about support…relationship-wise that is. It seems that my true calling fits as well as our bras!

Mynx is our beloved Purrmission logo because she embodies what it is to be a real woman. She graciously poses atop a pillow, as her comfort is of ultimate importance, and no apologies are ever needed. She may look asleep but under those eyelids she can see straight though anyone and anything. Her mission is truth in all things. Pert and petite, her nose is raised with just enough attitude to let a bit of mystery and mischievousness shine though. Finally, she dresses in only the best…a purple heart. For to be a happy and confident woman, at peace with her successes and her life choices takes nothing less than bravery at all times.
